Job Summary The Senior Network Architect provides guidance and leadership to the network engineering staff and works closely with management in CTI's Network Infrastructure and Telecommunications department in designing network backbone architectural principals, strategies and roadmaps. Essential Functions Design and document procedures and policies for IP network architecture, security, implementation, and monitoring. Assess IP network infrastructure and environment needs on projects and recommend solutions. Provide real-time response to external or internal security threats based on product vulnerabilities, denial of service attacks, or hardware failures. Recommend and implement process changes to improve infrastructure management, security and architecture. Provide baseline reporting and metrics on IP infrastructure. Ensure configuration and implementation management practices exist and are properly executed for new projects. Provide technical support related to configuration, patching and infrastructure security. Serve as highest level technical support to other engineering teams. Support budget planning and capacity planning efforts in core IP backbone. Required Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent . Minimum of Seven to ten years of experience. Physical Requirements Typically sitting at a desk/table. Lifting demands <50lbs. Location University City - Philadelphia, PA Additional Information This position is classified as Exempt, grade O. Compensation for this grade ranges from $108,330.00 to $ 162,490.00 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
