Responsible for project management of a team assigned to specific technical programs. Monitors and controls timelines, resource capacity, and budget. Facilitates a culture of clear, transparent communication to guide the delivery coordination of enterprise programs. Establishes formal process, tools, and templates for high quality program management delivery. Coordinates continuing resource planning across enterprise product & engineering domains to illustrate trade-off scenarios and project sequencing feasibility. Coaches junior members of the team or organization on the creation of backlogs, roadmaps of multiple scrum teams, milestones, risks, and agile artifacts such as burn-ups. Drives professional accountability for the overall success of projects. Serves as a key leader in Program Delivery activities which interface with IT and business stakeholders. Leads special projects autonomously. Builds trust by developing strong business stakeholder relationships, providing transparency and open communication in accordance with Five Below's core values. Requires a Master's degree in any STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field and 2 years of IT experience (or a Bachelor's degree in any STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field and 5 years of IT experience). Must have experience with: technical project management; IT project resource planning and budgeting; packaged and custom-build solution delivery; project initiation, chartering, and inception; software delivery lifecycle, including specifications, development, testing, and release management; agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban; SAFe Agile/Program Increment Planning; producing and interpreting burnup or burndown charts; road mapping or project and portfolio management tools such as Clarity, Smartsheet, and Jira Portfolio.
