Job Summary

The Corporate HQ Human Resources team at Comcast HQ, is looking for a collaborative, innovative, consultative and results-driven Senior Director, Human Resources. As a trusted advisor to your business leaders, you will design HR strategies and provide insights that guide decision-making and business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to drive HR projects and business transformation efforts that span employee engagement, performance management, talent development, talent acquisition, retention, and compensation planning. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and various teams including our HR Centers of Excellence to drive organizational effectiveness, enhance employee engagement, and foster a positive workplace culture. A creative, solution-oriented and analytical mindset will be essential as you address complex challenges, ensuring HR financial and operational objectives are met.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Partners with senior management to develop strategies and programs that align with business initiatives including workforce planning, pay-for-performance, talent management, talent acquisition and succession

  • Manage workforce planning process working with internal client groups and internal talent acquisition team to identify effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain the right talent for the organization

  • Partner with clients to design organizational structures, processes, and culture initiatives

  • Oversees the onboarding journey to promote positive employee experience and ensure compliance requirements are being met

  • Counsels management and employees on disciplinary actions and performance problems in partnership with our HR legal team

  • Optimize and streamline integration of \practices where applicable

  • Provides support, direction and coaching for training and development programs

  • Oversees government, legal and regulatory requirements and/or complaints in various areas

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
