Description

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Data Analyst to join our team, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Sr. Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, developing data cleaning processes, providing data-driven insights, and creating reports and visualizations. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex datasets related to class action settlements, which often contain millions of records.

• Communicate continuously to navigate through thin requirements, making informed judgment calls.

• Create and enhance data cleaning and validation processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Collaborate closely with project managers and legal teams to understand specific claim requirements and constraints.

• Evaluate claims based on project guidelines, identifying any inconsistencies, fraudulent activities, or missing information.

• Utilize data-driven insights to aid in decision-making regarding claim approvals, denials, or deficiencies.

• Offer leadership and guidance to central data support members on collaborative tasks.

• Develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Propose and implement process improvements to ensure more efficient data handling in future settlements.

• Document all processes, data structures, and decisions made for auditing and compliance purposes.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and a proven track record in Analytics

• Proficient in Business Intelligence (BI) techniques

• Experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents

• Expertise in SQL database querying language

• Proficiency in Python programming language
