Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Software Developer specialized in Middleware, Python, Django, and Java Rest. This role is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States and is integral to our operations in the tech industry. You will be tasked with responsibilities that revolve around software development, network modeling, and problem-solving in Linux environments.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Python and MySQL to develop and enhance software applications.

• Run scripts independently in Linux environments.

• Implement basic graph algorithms such as Dijkstra, Breadth First Search, Depth First Search, and A*.

• Understand and apply knowledge of transport network and routing network integration.

• Maintain a basic understanding of routing protocols, particularly BGP, IGP, OSPF, or ISIS.

• Leverage prior experience with network modeling tools like Cisco WAE, Cariden MATE, WANDL, or Packetdesign Network X, if available.

• Solve complex problems quickly and efficiently.

• Understand and work with middleware applications. Requirements • Proficiency in Python, Java, and Django is essential

• Experience with Middleware Applications is a must

• Strong knowledge of MySQL is required

• Familiarity with REST API is needed

• Ability to implement complex algorithms

• Experience with Linux Technologies is vital

• Understanding of Cisco Technologies is beneficial

• Experience with Graph-related tasks is desirable

• Knowledge of OSPF and Routing Protocols is crucial

• Familiarity with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is necessary

• Experience with Network Modeling is preferred
