Gannett Fleming is looking for an experienced Wastewater Engineer offering strong technical experience to join our Water and Environmental Business Line in any one of our locations in the Greater Philadelphia area to include Valley Forge or Philadelphia PA as well as Marlton New Jersey. We offer a hybrid work model and flexible schedule options. In this role you will lead or support the conceptualization, design and construction administration of water/wastewater infrastructure projects  across the region. If you are a proven self-starter capable of leading and/or supporting medium to large scale projects with a customer-centric mentality and an emphasis on delivery quality at the highest level, this could be the right opportunity for you! In the capacity, you will be responsible for. Participating in and leading project teams in the planning, design and construction administration of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure facilities. Clients and projects may be in any locations in the Mid-Atlantic regions. Flexibility to travel within the region periodically to help serve Gannett Fleming's client base. Client interaction, presentations and project coordination. Coordinating projects assignments and tasks with technical staff and parters across multiple disciplnes including developing and implementing study and design standards, leading progress meetings, preparing meeting agendas and minutes and tracking project schedules. Coordinating work activities and communicating with various municipalities and governmental regulating agencies. Oversee construction contract management and observation services Preparation of reports and permit applications Demonstrate professional technical writing and verbal skills Involve in the engineering industry in general and especially in the water/wastewater industryEducation | Experience: BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering; Master's Degree preferred 5-10 + years of experience required in water/wastewater discipline, particularly as a water/wastewater engineer designing (study, plans and specifications) water and/or wastewater infrastructure (i.e. treatment and collection/distribution projects) Professional Engineer License (PE) in Pennsylvania or New Jersey preferred Progressive experience in the evaluation, design, permitting and construction administration of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, water storage and distribution facilities, and wastewater collection systems Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred Strong team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.Company Overview: At Gannett Fleming, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
