Robert Half Sales Support Specialist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

Robert Half is searching for a Sales Support Specialist to become a part of our client's dynamic team. In this Sales Support Specialist role, you'll be assisting the sales department in quoting, processing and tracking customer projects. If you possess exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail, you'll play an indispensable role in the efficient execution of customer orders, leading to successful projects and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities::

  • Handle phone calls and manage the switchboard

  • Welcome visitors cordially and ensure their comfort

  • Support the sales team in pricing, product analysis and technical information related to orders

  • Aid the sales team in creating quotations, review them and organize for delivering to the client

  • Thoroughly check orders for basic details, accuracy, and completeness

  • Liaise with manufacturers personally, over the phone, or via email

  • Handle order acknowledgements and tracking

  • Manage the Return Authorization (RA) process successfully

  • Set up client accounts by documenting their details

  • Maintain client accounts by updating their details regularly

  • Check backlog reports weekly for irregularities or incomplete information, and resolve issues on the same day (where possible).

    Requirements

The ideal Sales Support Specialist candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.

Other requirements for the Sales Support Specialist position include and are not limited to:

  • 2+ years client/ customer service experience

  • Haworth experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with especially strong Excel skills

  • Excellent support skills, ability to work well under pressure, professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail.
