PA Defense Litigation Paralegal - Center City Philadelphia

Are you a Litigation Paralegal seeking a full-time, permanent dynamic opportunity in defense litigation? Our client, an AV-rated regional defense litigation firm, is actively seeking a Defense Litigation Paralegal to join their esteemed team in their office in Center City, Philadelphia, PA in a full-time permanent paralegal role. Responsibilities:

• Engage in active litigation practice spanning various areas including general liability, professional liability, premises liability, products liability, construction, human services, and employment.

• Demonstrate strong work ethic, meeting deadlines and reporting requirements efficiently.

• Conduct thorough legal research, exhibit impeccable writing skills, and contribute effectively within a team-oriented environment.

• We handle a variety of matters including but not limited to premises liability,

• Analyze and summarize medical records and depositions, prepare exhibits for deposition and trial.

• Drafting basic pleadings, discovery, and motions.

• Research and analysis of complex legal documents

• Assist attorney with a variety of case tasks

• Highly effective organizational and prioritization skills to successfully handle heavy workload

• Database management of all relevant documents

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. / B.S.) or Paralegal Certificate preferred.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in civil litigation in Pennsylvania (PA) litigation, with NJ experience a plus.

• Excellent written and oral communication, file organization, and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge in litigation software programs.

• General familiarity with Calendar Management

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Strong know-how of spreadsheets and word processing is desired

• Attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality

• Customer service oriented communication skills
