Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

The ideal candidate understands the functionality of equipment, analyzes trouble areas, and makes necessary adjustments or repairs on all plant equipment. Responsibilities include basic repairs to pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyance systems, air compressors, and Mac valves. The role also involves adjusting and repairing solenoid switches, hydraulic cylinders, gearboxes, and pumps or any related pumping devices. The candidate should be able to read and understand electrical schematics and use electrical testing equipment to make repairs to all electric-driven machinery and micro switches. General maintenance duties related to plant equipment and building are also part of this role. Understanding boiler operations and troubleshooting steam generation problems are essential. The candidate will use hand tools, lathes, drill presses, saws, welding equipment, and calibration equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Completing assigned work orders by their due dates, performing housekeeping duties, and communicating any conditions that prevent the manufacture of products to established standards are crucial.
