Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 Salary

Graduate Engineer

Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals to join the Highways Department as a Graduate Engineer. This position will be responsible for providing civil engineering design services on projects in support of the firm's highway practice. Candidates must be able to provide civil engineering design for many different types of projects that may include aspects of roadway and highway design.

Responsibilities  * Provide civil engineering design for horizontal geometry, grading, earthwork, profiles, utilities, stormwater management, construction phasing, signing and pavement marking, maintenance and protection of traffic and erosion and sediment controls  * Organize and manage their workload and meet budget and schedule deadlines

Requirements :  * Required - Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States  * or a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program plus the ability to pass the PE exam within one year  * Preferred - 1 to 5 years of design experience in Engineering and Construction projects
