Konica Minolta is looking for a GBS Project Manager to join the team on a full time basis. The incumbent will provide project management leadership to Konica Minolta external customer and internal  programs and projects.  The selected individual will be expected to manage a variety of complex and high profile programs and projects in large  global enterprise environments. The Global Project Manager applies professional PMI principles, practices, and techniques to lead external and internal customer  project teams.  Project engagement requirements will include:  assistance in customer pre-sale activities, creation and management of project plans and schedules, project track of milestones and deliverables and continuously monitor risks to ensure success. The incumbent should have a strong analytic background. Responsibilities

  • Establish realistic goals and implement action plans for achieving set objectives
  • Guide and direct project team members to ensure compliance with set standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Ensure availability of manage scope, timeline and resources required to complete a project successfully
  • Evaluate the progress of a project to detect issues or risks to seek solutions to a more efficient process
  • Develop internal communication strategies useful in ensuring communication between various stakeholders, departments of an organization
  • Use specialized tools and techniques to delegate and ensure even distribution of tasks to project team members
  • Participate in educational programs to update job knowledge and expand personal network
  • Motivate team members to meet project goals by effectively carrying out their responsibilities
  • Offer solutions effective in meeting set targets and satisfying client requirements
  • Manage every aspect of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment, and resources. Qualifications

Education & Training: o Bachelor's Degree in project management or related discipline o Project Management Certification Preferred (PMI PMP/ Prince2 Practitioner PMP and/or Agile and/or Six Sigma certification ) * 5+ years of experience in people and resource management are essential to the position * Strong MS Office experience, with an emphasis in Excel (advanced level) * Leadership Skill: able to direct the operations of a project unit to ensure set goals are achieved Problem-solving skills: apply project management principles and methodologies in seeking solutions to project problems. * Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines and cultures; competence in clear concise, and tactful communication with senior management, clients, peers, and team members. * Prior experience managing programs/projects is highly desirable. * Proven track record of meeting and exceeding project goals and objectives. * Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. * Strong writing, decision making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills * Knowledge of and competency in project management processes including planning, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, quality management, monitoring, and reporting, documenting, and record keeping. * Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change. #LI-MD1 About Us
