Thomas Jefferson Univ Food Service Host: Part Time Flex in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Reference #: 9307146 006373 This is a Part-Time position, 32 Hours (every weekend/ some holidays) The required shift is from 4pm-8p Work any assigned shifts/roles as assigned by management within Food Service Host job classification. This includes but is not limited to: JHN Trayline Host Trayline Runner Gibbon Host Room Service Runner Scheduled roles are subject to change, at any time, based upon operational demands per discretion of management. Assist patients with meal ordering process. Deliver nourishments, tube feed orders, and/or various pantry stock items. Deliver patient trays and/or late trays utilizing approved scripting, processes, and procedures. Collect dirty trays and/or dirty tray carts from unit pantries, patient rooms, etc. Always follows and maintains safety procedures and protocols. This includes but is not limited to: Patient Safety Operational Safety Food Safety and Sanitation Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with core values of Hospital. Regular punctual attendance. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written assignments. Must have excellent customer service skills. Demonstrates competency in basic computer skills. Demonstrates excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate needs of the customer. Demonstrates the ability to use critical thinking and problem solving skills. Requires good time management, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University.
