Robert Half Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Description

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager for our client located in the Philadelphia area. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our finance department, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and corporate financial planning. You will be instrumental in maintaining financial databases and business intelligence, and your role will be crucial in the ongoing process of financial planning and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates monthly and long-term financial planning by analyzing financial data.

  • Conducts financial modeling analysis; works with management to examine and interpret the Profit & Loss statements, suggests actions to management, and tracks Key Performance Indicators.

  • Assists in annual budget formulation by collecting data, integrating it into the financial model, and presenting it to leadership.

  • Aids in enhancing financial processes by evaluating financial and business information to pinpoint areas for improvement.

  • Contributes to business decision-making by aiding in the creation of financial models that factor in assumptions, expectations, and potential risks, and by preparing presentations and supplementary materials for recommendations.

    Requirements

The ideal Financial Planning & Analysis Manager candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in systems, finance or accounting strongly preferred. CPA preferred.

Other requirements for the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager position include and are not limited to:

  • 6+ years’ experience in finance or accounting, or related area

  • 4+ years GL accounting experience, manufacturing, ecommerce, retail experience preferred – not required

  • High proficiency with MS office, with advanced Excel and Power Point skills

  • Expertise with financial databases and business intelligence, software (JD Edwards, Qlik, Spreadsheet Server, Snowflake and Tableau experience preferred)

  • Ability to learn new concepts and tasks quickly, work under pressure, and meet deadline requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
