Robert Half Financial Analyst II (Contractor) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst II in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This role primarily revolves around the analysis of customer accounts and facilitating the resolution of past due notices. The position is primarily situated in a dynamic industry where you will work closely with billing and payment.
Responsibilities:
• Investigate and analyze credit actions to hasten the resolution of outstanding items.
• Contribute to projects and collaborative efforts with senior Analysts.
• Assist in devising strategies and actions for debt repayment.
• Review, maintain, and update customer account information, keeping a close eye on financial status and collection efforts.
• Conduct research and analyze payment history/trends across all accounts.
• Issue daily reports on the status of delinquent accounts and track collection efforts.
• Prepare monthly reports showcasing delinquency trends and providing analysis of collection results.
• Register new content partners as vendors in the portal, ensuring the vendor onboarding process is in compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with the Accounts Payable department to update bank information for existing partners.
• Communicate with content partners and vendors about the status of their payments and reconcile the subledger.
• Maintain regular contact with external vendors and monitor their registration status/updates.
• Run Accounts Payable General Ledger reports, filter by unpaid status, and identify reasons for non-payment, working towards resolution. Requirements • Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with various Procedures and Policies, ensuring all activities adhere to the company's standards.
• Strong understanding of Compliance regulations within the financial industry.
• Experience with Payment Processing and Billing systems, managing transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work effectively with Vendors and Partners, nurturing strong detail-oriented relationships.
• Experience in Onboarding new employees or clients, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Knowledge of Collection Processes, managing delinquencies, and debt repayment strategies.
• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Experience in a Call Center Customer Service environment, managing customer accounts effectively.
• Understanding of Credit systems, managing outstanding items efficiently.
• Proficiency in Research Analysis, using data to inform decision-making processes.
• Experience with Monthly Reporting, preparing department reports accurately and timely.
• Ability to use the Go programming language, demonstrating strong technical skills.
• Experience managing Notices and communications with external vendors.
• Familiarity with Subledger systems, ensuring accurate financial tracking.
• Experience with GXS, demonstrating competency in industry-specific software.
