Ghost Robotics Corporation Electrical Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Ghost Robotics is the industry leader in legged robotic systems that not only help our customers solve complex operational, national security, and technical challenges to save lives, reduce harm and improve outcomes. 

This position will be reporting into the Head, Electrical and Firmware Engineering and will be working closely with a fast-moving team delivering next generation legged robotic solutions to our customers worldwide. We are looking for a candidate who is self-motivated, knowledgeable, has a solid work ethic, can learn quickly, and execute under demanding timelines.

Key Duties

  • Electrical schematic design following high-level requirements from the Head of Electronics and Firmware
  • Electrical PCB design and layout
  • Bring-up and testing of electronics
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Work Experience

  • 3-5 years minimum experience at an established integration firm, consultancy or product company. 
  • C/C++ programming skills
  • Strong foundations in Linear Algebra, Rigid Geometry, Control Systems
  • Electrical schematic design
  • Electrical PCB design and layout
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Basic understanding of electronics
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work with customers under stressful environments.

Additional Experience a Plus

  • Working with robotics and mechatronic systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Altium Designer familiarity.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Firmware, Software, Electrical, Math, Physics, Mechatronics) or related discipline required.

Location

Philadelphia, PA (no remote candidates considered at this time). 

Travel

20-30% Domestic and International Travel
