The Temple Track PCC Project, a CDC-sponsored project seeking to learn more about post-COVID-19 conditions, is hiring a full-time Data Collection Coordinator to work on Temple University's main campus and assist with the project's longitudinal primary data collection. Under the direction of the Co-Principal Investigator, Dr. Resa Jones, this individual will report to the Research Project Manager and be responsible for the coordination of telephone outreach to project participants including, conducting telephone surveys, overseeing documentation and tracking of phone interviews, data editing and entry, and supervising part-time interview staff. They will also have the opportunity to assist with other active surveillance activities. Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly desired. This position is in-person on Temple University's Main Campus and will primarily be during afternoon, evening, and weekend hours. Evening and weekend availability is required. Essential functions: Coordinate staff work and supervision of telephone interviewers by assigning work and adjusting schedules as appropriate to ensure completion of work monitoring workload and output, and coaching interviewing staff to enhance performance; Monitor efficiency of existing workflows and  advise Principal Investigator and Research Project Manager on necessary adjustments to workflow and timelines, and develop and implement any updates as needed; Monitor and create reports on survey response rates across time; Responsible for managing data editing and quality control and making modifications to related protocols as appropriate; Oversee and conduct tracking of eligible participants and maintain tracking documents throughout the longitudinal study; Administer telephone survey instruments and record verbatim documentation following project protocols and adhering to survey standards to collect high-quality data; Review/proof completed surveys for completeness and accuracy, including surveys completed by other staff; Oversee and conduct training of other data collection staff as needed with assistance of Research Project Manager; Mentor and assist other data collection staff to address questions or concerns; Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Research Project Manager or Co-Principal Investigator; Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience: A minimum of a bachelor's degree and four years of relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Required Skills & Abilities: *Previous experience with primary data collection and research is required, with a focus on skills related to interviewing individuals for research studies *Experience with online survey administration software *Previous experience supervising telephone interviewers and/or data collection staff required *Knowledge of survey research methods and practices *Must be able to maintain subject confidentiality *Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with others *Excellent customer service skills *Experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Access and Excel *Excellent verbal communication skills with the bility to articulate clearly and concisely in communications *Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task and manage changes in participant volume and timelines across waves of data collection *Must be reliable and punctual Preferred: *Fluent in Spanish including speaking and oral comprehension *At least 2 years of experience in telephone data collection coordination and supervision *Experience with REDCap or CATI online survey administration software preferred

This position requires a background check. This is a grant funded position. This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
