Reference #: 2664 Summary of Position: Support supervisor activities when required such as: Assist with managing the work orders and assigning tasks to the technicians/specialist IAW the different skills required, and OJT received by them. Manage the team PTO making sure that the shop lead times are not affected when the supervisor is not available. Perform incoming Preliminary inspections upon opening of component work orders. Assist Supervisor with assignment of task/jobs to the technicians/specialist working on the aircraft. Assist Supervisor in daily/weekly/monthly planning to ensure all work is completed on time Assist in determining component malfunctions and defects by performing standard tests and inspections via common and diagnostic test equipment & tools. Assist in performing, maintaining and monitoring all paperwork related to job performance, materials used, tasks performed, and allocated time. Assist in performing on-the-job training & orientation for co-workers. As required, supply approved data to Techs/Tech Specialist who do not have access to data such as BTs, SBs, TMIs etc. Support Techs/Tech Specialist w/various demands as required. Assist in collaboration with and support of other AWPC groups and teams as required.

Education High school degree
Experience 1. At least 5 years of helicopter experience. 2. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principals as applied to aviation and must be able to use / interpret diagrams, blueprints and technical publications. 3. One-year experience in a shop leadership role / environment. 4. Ability to prioritize work. 5. Ability to organize multiple ongoing activities. 6. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Programs. 7. Knowledgeable and proficient in SAP and workorder management
