Job Title: Construction InspectorJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join our team. This role involves observing and documenting the construction of various infrastructure projects including airports, highways, streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, and building systems such as HVACR, electrical, plumbing, security, and communication systems. The ideal candidate will have prior construction experience, the ability to read construction plans and specifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe and document the construction of infrastructure projects including airports, highways, streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, and building systems.

• Travel throughout PA/DE for fieldwork.

• Work closely with mid to senior level inspectors within the Infrastructure team focused on sewer assessment and rehabilitation.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

• Use tools such as density gauges and nuclear density gauges for compaction testing.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma required; an associate degree in engineering or construction management is highly favored.

• NICET Level 1 certification is preferred.

• Valid driver's license.

• Prior construction experience or observation.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with ACI certifications and construction management.

• Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques.

Work Environment

The role involves extensive fieldwork across PA/DE and occasional office work when not in the field. The successful candidate will collaborate with mid to senior level inspectors within the sewer assessment and rehabilitation team. The position offers 1-2 weeks of PTO, 6 holidays, and the opportunity to grow and work with senior members of a reputable firm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00
