DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY: This person will be an active participant in Chubb International's financial cycles, including forecasts and accounting close, including assisting in the development of management reporting. Automation of routine tasks to streamline our financial is at the heart of our finance transformation effort, and this person is expected to identify opportunities to leverage technology and be an active participant in implementation

RESPONSIBILITIES: As a student participating in a first co-op with Chubb International FP&A, you will have responsibilities consistent to those assigned to a new college graduate: * Own the development of key management information reports (top line reporting, P&Ls) * Own development and analysis of assigned parts of the monthly executive reporting deck * Support Finance transformation processes by actively identifying and developing automation solutions through TM1 (our financial reporting database), Alteryx, PAW (our reporting system) * Be an advocate for leveraging technology throughout the COG Finance organization

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: * Has a strong technical foundation with Microsoft, specifically advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills * Has an understanding of relational databases and how to navigate dimensions to create queries and reports * Has experience with Alteryx and ideally can maintain existing Alteryx scripts * Strong communication skills.  Can effectively communicate results verbally and written

PREFERRED EDUCATION: * Accounting and/or Finance Major/Minor * Pursuing Business Analytics Certificate
