DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: An outstanding opportunity exists for a student seeking to gain marketable financial skills and experience in the exciting area of International Reinsurance and Finance in a team-oriented environment.

Job Duties: * Assist management in analyzing Large Claims Summary (LCS) activity submitted by Chubb Overseas General (COG) offices to determine the proper allocation of loss    exposure between Chubb and unaffiliated reinsurers using different foreign currencies. * Use verbal and written communication skills to interact with Global Treaty's internal (claims, underwriting, etc.) and external (brokers and reinsurers) service partners. * Assist management in preparing Loss Notices, manage the internal review process, and communicate details of large losses with third party brokers and reinsurers. * Support analysis of general ledger account balances, including cash and Broker/Reinsurer accounts. Complete/record journal vouchers and assist in system related improvement testing as needed. * Provide support to the Global Treaty team by managing GT mailbox and address inquiries as needed. As well as, sorting and delivering inbound emails to the GT team to ensure timely execution of questions from the external market or local offices. * Responsible for managing, completing, and tracking LCS and notifications inventories * Provide accounting support/analysis and other work on special projects, as appropriate.   QUALIFICATIONS * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills * Detail oriented with strong organizational skills * Strong verbal and communication skills * Proficiency in Excel and Access * Accounting, Finance, or Math - Actuarial major preferred
