Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP Audit Response Processor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Reference #: R3025 Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire an Audit Response Processor. Reporting to the Senior Audit Response Attorney, this position will reside in the Philadelphia office and be responsible for supporting the General Counsel to the firm and the Audit Response Committee by implementing required procedures related to the firm's responses to auditors' requests for information about threatened or pending litigation and unasserted claims.

A hybrid in-office/remote working schedule is available for this position.

Responsibilities:

Receives all auditors' inquires.

Reviews Time Charge Summaries to identify the Responsible Attorney and any other attorneys who may be in a position to provide additional information.

Distributes requests for information to appropriate attorneys; sets deadlines for response.

Ensures responses from attorneys are received within the requested time period; develops and maintains a system for tracking matters and ensuring timely follow-up as necessary.

Collects and analyzes data from attorneys in response to auditors' inquiries.

Performs additional research on audit response topics as needed.

Determines appropriate response format.

Prepares draft response letter for review and approval by the Responsible Attorney and the Audit Response Committee.

Interfaces with attorneys, clients and auditors as necessary; demonstrates a high level of client service to both internal and external clients.

Maintains filing system, both paper and electronic.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years administrative experience, preferably in law firm or another legal environment.

Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma required.

Flexibility to work overtime if needed.

Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures and applicable technology.

Excellent communication skills, verbal & written.

Ability to work independently and under very tight deadlines.

Prioritizes tasks, pays attention to detail and follows through to ensure deadlines are met.

Handles confidential information discretely.
