University of Pennsylvania Assistant Professor-Clinical Educator Track-Surgical Pathology with expertise in Genitourinary-Dept of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine/Anatomic Pathology in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of surgical pathology with interest in genitourinary pathology. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. American Board of Pathology, AP-only or AP/CP.

Teaching responsibilities may include medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include participation in the Surgical Pathology service with coverage of Genitourinary pathology services, general frozen section service, autopsy service and night/weekend call at Penn Medicine, including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Hospital, Pennsylvania Hospital and its affiliates. Coverage of additional pathology subspecialties in addition to thoracic will also be considered. The main practice site will be Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include development of an independent or highly collaborative research program (as PI, Co-PI or Co-I) in the area of anatomic pathology, particularly genitourinary pathology.
