Summary of Responsibilities:

Join a Great Place to Work! We’re looking for a Paralegal to partner with attorneys on litigation, regulatory, compliance and risk management issues. As a paralegal, you’ll prepare and file pleadings with courts and regulatory agencies. You’ll manage discovery requests and responses, as well as legal holds and e-discovery preservation and collection, support attorneys in preparing for hearings and at trial and initiate small claims collections. In addition, you’ll review contracts, easements, financing instruments, corporate records, case law, statutory and regulatory developments affecting the company’s interests and circulate appropriate materials to attorneys and other company employees.

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you’ll use your associates degree in a paralegal/legal assistant program or equivalent work experience and paralegal license in the state of Wisconsin to support discovery work including production of documents, answers to interrogatories, depositions and prepare for cases in court litigation or before a regulatory agency. You’ll also organize and maintain pleadings files and indices, review and approve standard contracts and easements.
