Apogee Engineering Joint Exercise Planner in Peterson AFB, Colorado

Apogee is actively seeking a Joint Exercise Planner to join our SMDC team at Peterson Space Force Base, CO. This position will provide A&AS to support the USASMDC G37 Training, Readiness and Exercise Division (G37 TREX) mission. This position will provide support for the Exercise Branch, which is responsible for planning, synchronizing, executing, and assessing space operations support to USSTRATCOM, USSPACECOM, and other COCOM major exercises, experiments, and war games. What you'll be doing: Joint Exercises Support. The Joint Exercise Team will coordinate directly with USSTRATCOM, GCCs, ASCCs, Corps, Division, 1st Space Brigade, Satellite Operations Brigade, and the 100th Ground-Based Mission Defense (GMD) to provide required space exercise support. Provide expertise in planning STRATCOM GLOBAL LIGHTNING and GLOBAL THUNDER, DEFENDER series, the 1st Space Brigade and 100th GMD major training events, and additional Joint exercises using the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) process. Execute the exercises outlined above. This includes controlling the planned storylines and injecting the developed MSEL. The contractor shall use the JMSEL tool to inject the planned events. Use the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) tool to collect Lessons Learned/After Action Review (AAR) comments from events that occurred during the exercise. Minimum Experience: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Education: Bachelors Degree Years of experience: 10 years relevant experience desired: Must possess strong analytical, technology, and organizational skills. Accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are required. Ability to work independently and meet communicated schedules and deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum Experience: Preferred Space support to operations, and exercise planning. Benefits & Compensation: Apogee offers two medical plans, a high deductible health plan with an HRA and a traditional POS plan with co-pays, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, PTO, paid holidays, parental, military, and jury duty paid leaves. Regular part-time employees scheduled for twenty-four or more hours per work week are eligible for benefits on a pro-rated basis. Salary Range: $85,000 to $130,000
