Summary About the Position: As the Identity and Data Management Specialist, implements Department of Defense (DoD) and Army policies and procedures to ensure an effective and efficient program that supports current and planned operations and Sensitive Activities (SA). Responsibilities Provides direction, control, and policy guidance related to assigned elements of the Operations Support Branch (OSB). Provides input into assigned Operations Support Branch program elements. Maintains knowledge of current developments and technologies, which may serve to improve management and administrative processes in assigned information management and Identity and Data Management program elements. Develops supplemental instructional, training, and Records Management materials related to assigned programs for use by management personnel at the command. Interprets, analyzes and evaluates service and joint requirements, then identifies and develops courses of action to meet mission requirements. Plans and develops policies and procedures for accomplishing key Identity and Data Management work. Periodically conducts special studies and/or surveys at installation activities relative to assigned Identity and Data Management program elements, which would typically involve complex problems or process improvements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: US Citizens In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent grade (GS-11) in the Federal service which includes 1) leading an Identity and Data Management Program capable of supporting deployment and redeployment of anywhere in the world on short notice; 2) providing Identity and Data Management services; AND 3) managing an Identity and Data Management Program, which includes operations management, records management, multiple organization coordination, and other management information services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11). Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
