salary: $20 - $22 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Cast materials into different types of production molds.

• Understand the basics of mold setup for casting urethane.

• Understand basics of silicone layup technique and fabric reinforcements.

• De-mold parts after materials catalyze, and perform any specific cleaning, trimming, or tooling required.

• Clean and maintain molds between pours.

• Work to achieve a basic understanding of materials and compounds used for casting in the department.

• Organize and maintain workspace, tools and equipment used in performance of duties.

• Maintain logs and documentation used to track production runs.

• Notify supervisor when supplies are needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate in a safe manner and environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

Skills

• Molding (1 year of experience is preferred)

• Hand tools (1 year of experience is preferred)
