SUMMARY
Develops control systems to support Production Team in their efforts to produce high quality products on time and safely.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Works with multiple cross functional engineers to bring a solution from concept to reality.
Develop and maintain electrical control systems and schematic drawings.
Develop and maintain controls system software in ladder logic and structured text.
Acts as liaison between engineering and corporate information systems in order to implement smart factory systems for control and monitoring of production equipment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Self-management required.
Coordinate activities with other groups.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor-s degree (B.S) from four-year college or university in a relevant field to control system design and programming.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
