SOLUTE Careers 1445 - Software Engineering Intern in Perry, Georgia

Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support Sigma program managers and engineers in developing software applications and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI). In addition, qualified candidates will assist Senior SW engineers in writing code and scripts that auto-configure or establish automated testing configurations for satellite and terrestrial communication systems.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in software and programming languages including MS Office, SolidWorks, C/C++, Python, AWS, and Azure.

Candidate Differentiators:

  • GUI Development, Information Technology, Software engineering, TCP/IP, military veteran, SAFe, DevSecOps, and Cloud Technologies.

Education Requirements:

  • Must be an actively enrolled student pursuing a degree in Software Engineering or related field of study.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities (Not all-inclusive):

  • Candidate will work as part of a small engineering team developing GUIs that automate SATCOM and other terrestrial communication systems configurations.

  • Candidate will be responsible for coding applications, testing, verifying, and validating code.

Compensation: $15-$20 per hour.
