Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Pequannock, New Jersey. The chosen candidate will perform vital functions in the finance industry, working on-site and utilizing their skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately manage and maintain customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner

• Perform monthly and quarterly account closures

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations

• Execute journal entries with precision

• Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks

• Maintain General Ledger with up-to-date entries

• Monitor customer accounts and implement necessary actions

• Use Microsoft Excel for data tracking and reporting Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with General Ledger management

• Proven ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding business operations and taxation.
