Essential Functions
Assists with the installation and troubleshooting of fire protection sprinkler systems for commercial application (including piping, valves, and accessories).
Must prepare accurate and timely documentation for work performed, complete monthly vehicle reports and maintain truck inventory to ensure proper response to customers’ needs).
Must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Must ensure a positive customer experience.
Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
Completes other projects to manager and customer satisfaction, as assigned.
Required Competencies
Have a strong work ethic.
Detail oriented.
Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, instructions, etc. as presented in English.
Ability to collaborate and communicate with internal and external teams and end users in English.
Education, Experience, and Eligibility Requirements
Must present proof of ability to legally work in the United States.
Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
Must have three (3) or more years of experience in all fire sprinkler systems (wet, dry, deluge, and pre-action).
Have working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13(R), 13(D), 14, 20, 24 and local codes and fire codes that apply.
Must have an ability to be able to read and understand blueprints.
Must have an ability to discern deficiencies in the system being inspected.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to clear a drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Certification/Licensing
- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.

Physical Requirements
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to undertake certain physical requirements unassisted for up to 8 hours per day.
Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear.
Use vision abilities, including close, distance, peripheral, depth, and color.
Work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions/circumstances, such as with ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment, wires, ducts, crawl spaces, attics, above ceilings, etc.
Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs.
Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on-call” availability.
Must be able to travel on short notice.
Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periods of time.
