ASRC Federal is seeking an Information Technology (IT) professional for the role of Systems Administrator - Linux – Data Brokering, in support of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program. The System Administrator will provide Operations and Maintenance, as well as Development and Integration of System and Advanced Analytics in support of the UCSA platform.

Responsibilities:

• Gather customer technical and functional requirements for the development of system and analytic products.

• Defines specifications and functional requirements for complex systems.

• Assess and identify design options to meet functional requirements and deliver technical efficiencies.

• Assess design impacts on hardware and integration requirements.

• Assist with the development of system-level designs including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for system and analytic products.

• Ensure system compliance and compatibility with DoD standards and architecture.

• Creates and maintains system design documents throughout the product lifecycle.

• Provide technical analysis, operation, integration, and user support services for systems.

• Provide Troubleshooting, Problem Resolution, and technical guidance in overcoming development obstacles and questions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in a technical field plus ten (3-5) years of relevant IT experience.

• An active Secret level security clearance.

• A DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification is required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing ability, is required.

• Knowledge of Developing and Supporting Analytic Services.

• Knowledge of Real Time Data Streaming Tools

• Experience using Data Warehouse tools

• Knowledge of JIRA and GIT development environments.

• Knowledge of containerization and micro-services technologies and tools.

• Knowledge of AGILE and ITIL methodologies.

• Ability to work under pressure and compressed time constraints as a member of a cross-functional team.

Preferred Abilities

• Experience with JIRA and GIT development environments.

• Experience with Developing and Supporting Analytic Services.

• Experience with Real Time Data Streaming Tools
