Manpower Structural Welder in Pensacola, Florida

Position offered by no fee agency.

Job Description:

Welding of structural steel and stainless-steel parts

Structural fabrication: working with shapes, plates, and other metal parts

Work hours: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting basic drawings and welding symbols

Cutting and grinding parts, using hand and power tools such as portable grinder, hand file, torch, plasma cutting, and arc welding equipment

Following company guidelines and procedures including company welding standards and housekeeping procedures

Inspecting work, identifying potential problems, and initiating corrective actions

Assisting supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance

Performing as a productive team member by meeting daily goals set by the supervisor, increasing awareness of quality procedures within the department, and continuously improving communications and flexibility within the team

Building pride of workmanship and quality through on-the-job training

Requirements:

2-5 years of recent industrial experience as a fabricator / welder and current resume a must

Must be able to fabricate to supplied drawings

Must be proficient with using Stick, MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding processes

Must pass weld test during interview process for all CCS weld procedures; bring PPE for the test

Must have a full set of personal tools

Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

Salary and Benefits:

$20 or higher / hour depending on experience
