Insight Global After School Coordinator in Pensacola, Florida

Job Description

  • Oversee 3 Pensacola Community Center after-school programs which include programs dealing with children with specialized needs

  • Plan, organize, implement, coordinate, and control services of the Parks and Recreation Community Center After School/Summer Education Resource Programs

  • Create program budgets, program policies and procedures, and educational curriculum suitable for classroom ages K-5

  • Collect and report data required for grant maintenance

  • Facilitate, plan, collaborate, and coordinate children's educational programs and activities

  • Work with the grants management office on reporting and compliance of all grant awards

  • Maintain accurate records on children enrolled in the program to include their development, attendance, immunizations, and general health

  • Confer with parents on a regular basis to discuss the developmental progress of children enrolled in the program

  • Manage purchases and inventory

  • Prepares administrative reports

Skills and Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with implementation of children and/or youth programs

  • CPR/First Aid certification within 3 months of employment

  • Valid drivers license

  • Completion of minimum of 8 hours of special needs training (available after onboarding) - Bachelors Degree in recreation, education, parks administration, hospitality, or related field null
