Job Overview

The Aerospace, Defense, & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit in TE is seeking a Project Manager within the Finance organization to lead the Dassian SAP System Integration. This Project Manager will lead and influence cross-functional teams to support the integration and implementation of Dassian SAP, a large financial government accounting system. This role involves partnering with key stakeholders to ensure project progress, providing guidance to functional areas to reduce risks and meet project deliverables.

The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other TE teams to ensure projects align with financial and timing expectations. The successful candidate will have a systems and government accounting/compliance background within an aerospace or regulated manufacturing industry experience. Operations experience, the ability to build relationships with plant teams, and understand the manufacturing organization and strategy will be a key to success.

Aerospace Experience Required

Responsibilities

  • Project manage the successful implementation and integration of a financial government accounting system (Dassian SAP).

  • Collaborate with global project teams to develop and manage project schedules for implementation, driving the project to meet schedule requirements.

  • Develop and manage project budgets and timelines and hold to budgetary goals and schedules.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project tasks, stages, milestones, and deliverables for successfully implementing and integrating SAP Dassian.

  • Partner effectively with the Government Compliance team and Operations team to ensure stakeholder alignment and implementation buy-in.

  • Provide frequent and effective update communications to Senior Leadership regarding the timing and progress of Dassian implementation, ensuring proper escalation to resolve key issues.

  • Apply practical solutions and proven methods to deliver Dassian implementation, providing recommendations and applying solutions to course correctly.

  • Apply technical recommendations and a roadmap for successful master data cleanup.

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management or a related field.

  • 8+ years of related experience in systems (preferably SAP) implementation, large financial accounting integration, Project Management, Supply Chain & Operations, government accounting and/or compliance, or another related area.

  • Experience in government accounting and/or audit, with a thorough understanding of the defense industry or highly regulated/audited environments.

  • Ability to manage complexity across stakeholders, communicate effectively, manage priorities, and gain buy-in for different functions and departments.

  • Proven experience in a large, matrixed, and global organization, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex SAP or financial system integration projects to completion.

  • Continuous Improvement mindset with prior experience implementing best practices in SAP or financial accounting systems.

  • Previous experience in supply chain or operations roles/management, in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Industry is required.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $128,560 - 192,840 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
