THE POSITION

The Department of Heath (DOH), office of the Deputy Secretary of Administration is seeking a Public Health Program Administrator. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Public Health Program Administrator, you will oversee the implementation of employee professional development plans, design training for DOH bureaus and offices, maintain quality control standards, and provide exceptional customer service. Your role will be essential in developing policies and procedures for TRAIN PA, our public health learning platform. You will e xpand the use of TRAIN PA with potential partners, r esearch and implement best practices, and liaise with internal and external administrators. In addition, you will p rovide guidance to potential partners who request TRAIN PA content, p articipate in meetings of the TRAIN Affiliate Consortium, and develop site enhancements including quality assurance processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours are negotiable between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Public Health Program Associate 2 (commonwealth title); or
A bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
PA residency requirement (https://www.employment.pa.gov/Additional%20Info/Pages/default.aspx) is currently waivedfor this title.
