THE POSITION

Do you have a thorough knowledge and understanding of payroll, timekeeping, and leave administration? If so, the Pennsylvania Game Commission want you on our team! We are looking for a Human Resource Analyst 1 with a keen eye for detail to assist with timekeeping and advisory duties. Bring your talent and ambition to our department!

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Resource Analyst 1, you will serve as an agency time advisor and timekeeper. You will be responsible for onboarding new employees to the Game Commission, coordinating the time management process, as well as directing agency timekeepers in processing time, attendance, and overtime. Work includes coordinating the review and approval of Leave Without Pay requests, interpreting union contracts, adjusting work schedules, researching overtime errors, and processing salary advances. Effective communication is key in this position as you will be handling inquires from employees regarding pay and leave issues.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in the performance of technical human resource duties; and a bachelor's degree;or

  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

    Other Requirements:

  • This particular position also requires you to possess one or more years of full-time experience in payroll, timekeeping, or leave administration.
