Position Summary:OPEX Corporation is looking for multiple full time CNC Machinists to work at our Pennsauken, NJ location. We are looking for workers who are able to commit to a full time schedule during our second or third shift. We are currently looking for workers who have experience using Mazak turning equipment or Haas Milling machines. We are looking for dependable, organized, mechanically skilled individuals for this opening.Essential Responsibilities:Worker will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce partsThey look at the finished product to ensure it is defect-free and ready for the next step in productionFollow written and verbal procedures for machining and other dutiesLoad parts and/or material, prove programs, operate controls, set offsets, perform simple edits, debur and inspect quality parts for conformance to requirementsInspect your work produced using micrometer; calipers, or other measuring instruments to verify conformance to specificationsStudy and interpret drawings, specification or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirementsEnsures resources are continually operating in a safe mannerWorks as a team member, meeting professional standards of cooperation, communication and appearanceMaintain regular attendance and perform duties in a timely manner, arriving and departing for assignments and meeting as requirementsOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Minimum requirement for the position is 2+ years as a machinistStrongly prefer 5+ years of experience as a machinistMust have experience working with Mazak turning centerMust have experience working with Haas milling machineMust have set up experienceCandidate must be able to provide their own toolsMust have the ability to lift 50 poundsPhysical/Work Environments:Worker will be working in a production shop settingWorker must be able to lift 50 poundsWorker must be able to stand throughout duration of their shiftAbout UsCompany OverviewOPEX Corporation is more than a manufacturer of machines.
