job summary:

Support QA/QC processes within the tech org through ongoing monitoring and assessment of controls. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Incumbents typically have over 5+ years of risk management and LOB/ECF experience.

We're looking for an individual to provide governance, internal control discipline and operational excellence practices for sustainability routines.

Activities would include:

• Partner with the Technology Managers and their teams to ensure sustainability routines are performed in accordance with defined processes.

• Support technology teams in remediating, identifying, debating, and documenting risk and remediation plans.

• Support technology teams in the delivery and validation of requested artifacts.

• Support technology teams in setting up sustainable routines and tracking solutions.

• Support Technology Management in audit and exam activities.

• Gather and organize data demonstrating continued Sustainability activities.

• Assist in miscellaneous issue management activities and escalations.

• Maintain effective and professional relationships with key business stakeholders and risk partners.

• Act as an ambassador of the risk culture.

Required (hard) skills/experience:

• Excellent MS-Office skills including PowerPoint (for presentations), Excel (for manipulating large amounts of data) and Word.

• Track record of ensuring accuracy, clarity, and quality of work with attention to detail.

• strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent organizational skills, versatility, and flexibility. Ability to learn quickly and shift between topics, projects, programs, and teams.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.

Desired skills/experience:

• Experience in the identification, documentation, debate, and escalation of risk.

• Oversee execution of Risk Assessments.

• Solid understanding of a risk control framework (i.e., inherent risks, control procedures, residual risk, etc.)

• strong ability to analyze metrics and data to identify thematic issues / areas requiring improvement.

• Understanding of Global Records Management, Business Continuity and Recovery, Information Security, Application Management, and Change Management programs, principles and application in a technology setting.

• Understanding of the business controls and compliance functions and the partnership required to be effective.
