More than just a role, it's a calling. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you'll be a key member of our healthcare team, working directly with patients and providers to ensure the highest quality of care. You'll play a vital role in patient wellbeing, from initial assessment to follow-up care.

What you'll do:

  • Provide comprehensive patient care: Greet patients, obtain vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.), and prepare them for examinations.

  • Assist with procedures: Draw blood samples, administer medications (oral, injection, topical, etc.), and perform EKGs.

  • Ensure smooth operations: Schedule diagnostic tests, follow up on results, and communicate with patients.

  • Maintain a safe and efficient environment: Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.

  • Accurate documentation: Meticulously document patient information, test results, and treatment plans in the medical record.

  • Proactive problem-solving: Identify and escalate any non-routine issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel.

  • Adhere to safety protocols: Complete required safety checklists and quality control measures.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

  • Current/valid Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required.

  • Medical Assistant experience preferred.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay Range

$19.68 - $27.06 /hour
