RESOF LLC Constructional Metal Workers in PEMBROKE PINES, Florida

The construction metal worker is responsible for fabricating ducts for high efficiency heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to maximize efficiency of systems; fastening seams or joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, or bonds to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items; installing plumbing or piping; trimming, file, grind, deburr, buff, or smooth surfaces, seams, or joints of assembled parts, using hand tools or portable power tools; welding metal components; finishing parts, using hacksaws or hand, rotary, or squaring shears; cleaning or preparing construction sites to eliminate possible hazard; measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed; reading plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities; loading, unloading, or identifying building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications; erecting or dismantling scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, or other temporary structures; smoothing or finishing freshly poured cement or concrete, using floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools; installing sewer, water, or storm drain pipes, using pipe-laying machinery or laser guidance equipment; mopping, brushing, or spreading paints, cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces to clean them or to provide protection; positioning, aligning, fitting, and welding parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools; applying, removing, and repairing insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems such as heat exchangers, tanks, and vessels, to help control noise and maintain temperatures; installing sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws to protect the insulation from weather conditions or physical damage; applying sealants or other protective coatings; installing drains, water supply lines, and waste disposal systems appropriate for a food processing facility; mounting compressor, condenser, and other components in specified locations on frames, using hand tools and acetylene welding equipment; lifting and align components into position, using hoist or block and tackle; adjusting, connecting, or disconnecting wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand or power tools; transferring tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
