Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Division: Precision Pulley and Idler (PPI)

FLSA: Non-Exempt Grade: 2

Job Status: Full Time Travel Required: 5%

Revision Date: April 19, 2021 Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Serves as the main point of contact with customers within their territory, for purposes of handling product quotations, order processing, and other customer service-related issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

More specifically, the person will:

  • Be the main point of contact for all customers within the assigned territory for purposes of providing quotes, receiving and processing orders and other customer service-related items.

  • Answer all calls in a timely manner to ensure the customer receives prompt attention.

  • Create, process and deliver quotations for PPI products.

  • Efficiently and accurately enter all necessary order information into the system.

  • Process and enter change orders in a timely manner.

  • Effectively communicate expedited delivery requests to all appropriate PPI departments.

  • Learn and possess strong product and system knowledge.

  • Maintain good communications with customers within the assigned territory.

  • Process service adjustment requests.

  • Communicate regularly with all Territory, Area and Regional Sales managers within assigned territory.

  • Communicate positively with supervisors, co-workers, and other internal and external customers

  • Provide backup to other Inside Sales Representatives as needed and able.

  • Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.

  • Continually participate in additional training related to the job.

  • Regular, consistent attendance.

  • Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS

  • High school diploma or a general education degree (GED); or

  • one to three months related experience and/or training; or

  • equivalent combination of education and experience.
