We are currently seeking a Program Analyst, Junior to support PMA-281 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The Program Management Analyst will support the NAVMPS IPT Lead.

Functional Description: The Program/Project Analyst, Junior Applies analytic technical thought in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Collects, completes and organizes data relating to aircraft/weapon/project and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation and data management.

Duties and Responsibilities: Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications

  • Maintaining and coordinating calendars and meetings in support of the DPM’s

  • Coordinate/schedule/facilitate meetings

  • Meeting Minutes/Action Items

  • Distribute briefs and files for meetings, as requested

  • Good written and verbal communications skills.

  • Good organizational skills and ability to multitask

  • Good interpersonal skills

  • A self-starter who can assist with running budget and financial reports from the NAVAIR Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT).

  • Begin training in Program Management Tool (PMT) and Acquisition Document support (Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and Procurement Initiation Documents (PIDs)). Keep AMS suite up to date on all acquisition data.

  • Develop and submit PID packages

  • Facilitate data gathering to support data calls

  • Proficient in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook and Word, and familiarity with PowerPoint, excel and Teams.

    Required Education: BA/BS Degree

    Required Experience: A Junior level person within a labor category has less than 3 years’ experience. A Junior level person is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
