Precise Systems, Inc. Program Management Analyst Deputy Operations in Patuxent River, Maryland

We are currently seeking a Program Management Analyst, Journeyman to support PMA-281 at the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The Program Management Analyst will support the Operations Team as the Deputy Operations Officer.

Functional Description: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • A self-starter who can work collaboratively in a multi-disciplined environment

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives

  • Comfortable and confident with facilitating meetings

  • Manage the Hail and Farewell Process (Onboarding and Off-boarding of personnel)

  • Maintain Master Roster and accounting of PMA-281 staff

  • Provide meeting support for a high-volume of briefs, meetings both in the program office and out of the program office: Scheduling, attending, taking notes and action items, organizing, and understanding the requirements

  • Manage correspondence between external stakeholders, PEO(U&W) and the Program Manager, and leadership managing all PMA-281 Programs

  • Manage multiple calendars and SharePoint organization for the PMA and Operations department

  • Candidate will monitor, track and control data calls between external stakeholders, PEO(U&W) and the PMA using an electronic tracking system

  • Coordinate review of all final responses through MS Teams Planner to PM/PDPM

  • Monitor the PMA’s schedule to include delivery milestones, effort deadlines, and critical path activities

  • Monitor the schedule to identify critical path changes to the baseline and implementation into data calls

  • Gather, draft and route nominations for multiple award categories through PMA leadership

  • Provide Contractor Admin Team oversight (travel, calendars, supplies, conference room scheduling, check-in/out, visit requests, travel order tracking, correspondence and document Tracker)

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Programs to include Outlook, Teams, Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

    Required Experience: A Journeyman level person within a labor category has 3 to 10 years of experience and a BA/BS degree. A Journeyman level person typically performs all functional duties independently.

    Desired Experience : At least 2 years of experience supporting NAVAIR programs.

    Required Education: Journeyman – BA/BS degree.

    Allowable Substitutions: The following substitutions are permitted for this task OR 6 years additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree OR Associates Degree plus 4 years’ additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
