Precise Systems, Inc. Electrical Engineer in Patuxent River, Maryland

Precise Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Patuxent River, MD. The Electrical Engineer will provide technical and engineering support services for PMA-209. Candidates should have experience with software designed radios with Embedded COMSEC, anti-jam, and SATCOM waveforms. Work products includes review of ECPs / CDRL documents. Draft technical white papers and platform integration plans. Test ARC-210 radios capabilities provided with Collins radio and RCU software releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Applies engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test or evaluate military weapons systems.

  • Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.

  • Applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.

  • Analyzes designs, develops, implements, tests or evaluates products related to engineering or functional requirements of military weapons systems.

  • Write procedures, work instructions and design practices criteria to standardize work products.

  • Evaluate technical specifications and applicable performance requirements.

  • Recommend and prepare inputs for test plans, procedures, etc. and provide other recommendation as needed.

    Required Education:

  • BS Degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, or an Engineering Discipline. Four-year ABET accredited Engineering Degree preferred.

    Required Experience: At least six (6) years of experience in an Engineering role. Three (3) years of experience with Navy Test and Evaluation Planning and execution preferred.

    Desired Experience:

  • 3 or more years of experience in Electronics Countermeasure Systems.

  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Familiar with the Department of Defense (DOD) System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process.

  • Familiar with Naval Test Procedures.

  • Competent in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-Power Point.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
