POSITION: Tutor Advocate - PT (Day and/or Evening)

ASSIGNMENT: Family Education Outreach Program (FEOP)

SITE/BUILDING: Roanoke House, Riverhead, NY

LOCATIONS: East End of Long Island

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide instructional support and advocacy for Spanish-speaking children of migrant farm workers in school, virtually, and/or at home

• Communicate with parents, staff, and the Family Education Outreach Programs office

• Participate in staff meetings

  START DATE: As soon as possible

  SALARY: $24.00/hour

Job Qualifications

• New York State Teaching Assistant Certification

• New York State fingerprint clearance

• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)

• Access to Transportation (mileage is paid between assignments)

• Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
