Summary: Performs engineering activities related to production, testing and trials. Reports to the Field Engineering Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provides engineering decisions on the deck plate in coordination with the functional engineering group. Performs field engineering activities related to production process. Provides details to crafts as related to production. Produces field sketches and material lists. Drafts necessary changes/revisions for review by Field Engineer Manager. Determines material needs related to change/revisions, fitting/outfitting and scoping impact. Works with crafts to review fitting/outfitting modifications and problems. Resolves production problems.

Requirements

: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with three or more years' experience in engineering related to the marine industry with a focus on deck plate resolution.

  One or more years' drafting experience related to production or equivalent combination of experience and training which results in the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
