Actalent Manufacturing Engineer in Pasadena, California

Description:

  • Opportunity is for a Manufacturing Engineering, they will be developing and implementing manufacturing processes for electronic and electro-mechanical products lines (sensors, Avionics, cameras) for the space and Aerospace industry.

  • Will be writing work instructions for PCB assembly, soldering, manufacturing of these products and create systems and processes that can be repeated and followed for future projects.

  • Will need to be able to expand the manufacturing capabilities of their small production floor and will lead the layout and tools needed to provide efficient manufacturing.

  • Design and optimize efficient production processes

  • Oversee the assembly and integration of electronics and optical systems used in aerospace applications.

  • Creation and maintenance of work instructions for the manufacture, assembly, and integration of aerospace products.

  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to minimize production issues.

  • Manage the supply chain for electronic, optical, and mechanical components, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in production/manufacturing engineering, specifically in electronics manufacturing, assembly, and integration.

  • Strong knowledge of electronic assembly processes and standards (IPC standards, J-Std)
