Reporting to, the Associate Director will have direct responsibility for managing Global Costing Activities and overseeing North/America Entity compliance Finance activities for OCOS. In addition, this role will manages Global Capital Management and Contract Manufacturing full P&L management.

Responsibilities:

• Support embecta Global Costing Activities including facilitating and leading global costing timeline and activities; providing guidance to Manufacturing sites and Supply Chain DC locations and managements of Distribution site cost variances.

• Manage 3rd Party Contract Manufacturing Revenue and Profit including budget and forecast development and monthly/quarterly reporting activities.

• Manage Global Cost Not in standard Consolidation to the Business includes monthly day-to-day operations and understanding results across Region , strategic decisions, compliance to finance policy, financial projections, and change management

• Lead Capital Fixed Asset Consolidation process includes partnering with all locations/regions/functions; NA, LATAM, EU, Asia, China to meet capital spending objectives, monitor CIP balances for US projects, and capitalize assets in service timely and in compliance with policy.

Relevant Experience:

• Experience in Management Accounting

• Exposure to leading teams and Understanding of SAP or other Management accounting systems.

• SAP knowledge/experience – a distinct advantage.

• Ability to lead/develop team and also work within teams outside of own financial area.

• Broad manufacturing/ operations finance experience in managing Cost

• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

• Good PC skills.

• Proactive – someone who anticipates potential problems and is a step ahead.

• Ability to analyse KPI’s and take appropriate advice and action.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

MBA or master's degree preferred

10+ years accounting/finance experience
