Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk near Parsippany, New Jersey. The chosen candidate will be part of a team and will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and ensuring appropriate action is taken when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintaining precise records of customer credits.

• Responding to inquiries and collections for co-insurers.

• Handling monthly billing of bordereau and/or revolving funds.

• Creating monthly bordereau billings and revolving fund billings to co-insurers.

• Sending refund checks on overpayments, credits due on Bordereau and adjustment of funds requested.

• Reporting receivables to meet other department’s special requests.

• Conducting revolving fund analysis and making recommendations monthly for upcoming policy renewals.

• Completing corrections for out of balance accounts when monthly reconciliations, of General Ledger to Vertical System balances, are presented.

• Daily entry of cash to Receivable System including clear receivables, post advances received on specific claims, notify claims department of funds received, release payments on Slow Pay queue where applicable, post revolving funds received on specific policies

Requirements • Must have proficiency in Account Reconciliation.

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is required.

• Proficiency in Billing processes is essential.

• Must be able to handle Cash Applications effectively.

• Experience in Cash Collections is mandatory.

• Must possess skills in Commercial Collections.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

• Must have knowledge of Oracle systems.

• Experience in QuickBooks is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with SAP systems is required.
