Job Description:

As a Commercial Security Install Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems in commercial settings. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our clients’ properties are secure and their security systems are functioning optimally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure security systems, including intrusion alarms, access control, CCTV, intercoms, and network infrastructure.

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on security system hardware and software.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with security systems to ensure they function correctly.

• Provide technical assistance and training to customers on system operation and functionality.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in a related field is preferred.

• Previous experience in low voltage electrical systems and security installations.

• Strong understanding of security technology and excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Certifications such as BICSI, NICET, or equivalent are preferred.
